Artemis (Latin Diana) is one of the oldest, most complex and most interesting forms of Greek pantheon. Daughter of Jupiter and Letuche, twin sister of Apollo, queen of mountains and forests, goddess of hunting, protector of young children and animals. From the goddess Artemis comes Artemisia. Estia, Athena and Artemis were the only goddesses that Venus had no power over them (who had subjugated the set of gods and humans).
