Statue Russian Cross

The Russian Cross is an Orthodox Cross, which is also called The Cross of St. Lazarus or the Eastern Cross. It consists of 4 holes. The vertical transverse line of the Russian Cross is crossed by three corners. The two upper rails are horizontal and parallel to each other. The top bar is the shortest. The lower, fourth, line of the Russian Cross is beveled. The oblique line of the Russian Cross is closer to the base and serves to support the cross. Because of the oblique cross, the Russian Cross is also called a cross with an oblique support. The Russian cross stands on the domes of Russian churches.
